Are You an Authentic Person?
Are you an authentic person or do you wear a mask to hide the real you hidden inside?
When you wear a mask, it conceals your true inner self, and the outside world sees a different version of you.
This mask can be hiding things you don’t like about yourself, a secret from your past, inner fears, painful experiences, an addiction to drugs or alcohol, depression, and many other things.
Wearing the mask is more comfortable, and protects your inner self from exposure. Living with a dual identity, you hide your true authentic self in the darkness.

You Are Often Your Harshest Critic
While others may critique you, you are often your harshest critic.
The constant comparing of yourself to others can be overwhelming, and you never seem to measure up or be good enough. The inner fears you have can eat away at your spirit.
If only you were better or like that person, your life would be satisfying. The excuses you make for yourself can further hinder your personal and spiritual growth.
The mask is massive to wear around and can weigh down your spirit over time. This weight can take a toll on your inner self, and cause feelings of self-hatred, depression and even thoughts of suicide.
The price you pay for wearing this mask is way too high.
You Are Loved Flaws and All
The condition of your true inner self or your spirit matters to God. You matter to God, and God loves you just the way you are, flaws and all.
God loves you so much that he gave his only begotten Son Jesus to die on the cross for your sins.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV
If you were to die today, precisely as you are, where would you go?
Would you have eternal life with God in heaven or would you be cast into the furnace of fire with the devil where there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth?
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like, unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 13: 47-50 KJV
Will you be among the wicked or the just?
Life with God or eternal separation from God (the second death) is your choices, and only you can make that choice. When you choose to have faith in God and faith in His Son, Jesus Christ and accept the forgiveness of sin your spirit can begin to experience healing.
This healing will allow you to live in truth authentically, and in doing so, you will begin to drop the burden of sin that has weighed you down. Your true inner self will experience the healing powers of God’s saving grace.
No longer will you need to wear a mask to hide your true inner self. You will have full assurance in your heart that God loves you, just the way you are, flaws and all.
